What Does Innovation Centre Provide?
Infrastructure support to pre-incubation startups, including office space, laboratory facilities, and access to cutting-edge technology. This support helps innovators to realize their ideas through prototyping and the ability to develop a minimum viable product/service.
Innovation Centre periodically organizes boot camps, workshops, hackathons, ideation competitions and several awareness programs, thereby providing a comprehensive platform to create awareness and training for students and faculty.
Seed funding support is also a key component of the innovation ecosystem, providing early-stage startups with the resources they need to bring their ideas to life. From prototyping to market research, seed funding helps startups to take their first steps towards success.
Mentorship is another critical component of the innovation ecosystem, providing startups with the guidance they need to succeed. With access to experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders, startups receive valuable advice and feedback as they work to bring their ideas to market.
Innovation Centre, MAHE, has been at the forefront of creating a conducive ecosystem for students, researchers, and entrepreneurs to realize their creative abilities. Facilities at Innovation Centre
Idea Cafe' is the ideation facility housed inside the state of the art Marena Recreational Complex. Our goal is to provide a conducive environment where students can storm ideas in a relaxed and open atmosphere.
At the Idea Café, interdisciplinary teams can convene, network, and brainstorm complex problems. Our seminar and workshop sessions provide aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs with opportunities to learn about concepts, network and share their ideas. Throughout the semester, these programs take place in the evening for the convenience of students from all colleges.

At the Makerspace, we provide innovators with a variety of tools and equipment that they can use to develop proof-of-concept and working prototypes. Additionally, we also have several 3-D printers as part of our Center for Rapid Prototyping.
Teams with promising prototypes receive seed funding so they can defray the costs of prototyping.
The Innovation Centre houses a state-of-the-art Apple Creative Studio. A course on iOS Software development is offered here to both MIT students and non-MIT students.
We offer training workshops to faculty and students throughout MAHE. Students are encouraged to develop apps under the guidance of faculty trained at the Apple Training Center, Bengaluru, as well as regular interaction with experts from local iOS software companies.

To support budding entrepreneurs who are ready to start their own companies, our incubators (MUTBI and the Govt of Karnataka BioIncubator) provide all the necessary resources and expertise.
The Innovation Centre also houses a Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) that supports multidisciplinary research by our faculty and students in emerging frontier fields. This facility houses a large range of instruments including a Scanning Electron Microscope, Energy Dispersive Analysis (EDAX), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), an X-Ray Diffractometer, an Ion Chromatography, and a NIR-VIS Spectrophotometer. The equipment supports interdisciplinary research and innovation in Emerging areas of Material Science, Biotechnology, Printed Photovoltaics, Plasmonic biosensors, and other fields.
With a vision to promote entrepreneurship and facilitate budding students' ideas to succeed, E-Cell MIT Manipal was founded. A key mission of the E-Cell is to act as a one-stop destination for students looking to convert their ideas into viable start-ups and instil the spirit of entrepreneurship.
